I talked Nazrin into buying ticket(s) at the first instinct.
Got myself return tickets to Jogjakarta for only RM35. But Nazrin didn’t manage to, unfortunately. Then I saw another good deal on Manila (only RM25) – so I got that too. Again, Nazrin was a little to slow to grab the same deal. Finally we settled on Laos; which was also rather cheap. Plus: I’ve always, always wanted to visit Laos anyway.

Early this morning – I woke up only to read Nazrin’s IM on my GTalk window. She asked what if I’m up for another trip to Bandung (in addition to the earlier mentioned). I’ve been to Bandung; I loved it. But I still jumped at Nazrin’s idea.
She suggested we go in July (because the airfare is cheap) and we did get the tickets. Finally.

It has been a rollercoster ride these past while. Really.
Two weeks ago I’ve made up my mind. I knew what I wanted. Well, I thought I knew what I wanted. But now – I have no idea anymore. I have no idea whether it is the right choice. I have no idea if I do it likewise I’ll be happier.

I’m tired of loads of things, loads of people.

I’m sick of my terumbang-ambing life. I miss those times when I’m more grounded. I miss that person who made my life (at that time) a little less chaotic.

I’m tired of these people around me who can’t stop blabbering about their engagements/weddings preps. Well I have nothing against ‘em peeps. But is that the only thing you can talk about?
It is always the same topic; the same conversations. Every single day.

I’m tired of having people make remarks about the fact I’m single. With that keji looks on their faces. Though I miss the intimacy I used to share with previous boyfriends; I am at a point of enjoying my single life. No doubt about that.

A very good friend once said to me – I have too many male friends. He said that might be one of the reasons why I’m not in a relationship with anyone.

So – it’s alright for males to have a lot of female friends but likewise for us females? Hmph.

When someone is in your life for a reason; it is usually to meet the need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty – to provide you with guidance and support; to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a God-send and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then – without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time; this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is – our need has been met, our desire fulfilled. Their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a season; because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it – it is real. But only for a season.

Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons.
Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson. Love the person and put what you’ve learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind; but friendship is clairvoyant.

Last Friday; an old friend (who’s very much like my sister) got married. I invited Onne to join me since it’ll be a good experience for him while he’s in Malaysia Nazrin was also nice enough to come along with us.

But well.. It’s a wedding after all. Wedding = free food

I’ve known Isya since I was 16 – she doesn’t change a bit. Except looking all gorgeous at her wedding reception. One lucky man, Harull is.

We were seated at the same table as her relatives. Friendly, friendly people. Onne, of course, stood out – since he’s the only white bloke at the wedding. And pretty much the tallest too. LOL
Everybody seemed to be paying him extra attention – making sure he’s having a good time.

I had a great time. Saw some familiar faces – but they are from Isya’s batch (one year my junior). I know she invited a few; but I didn’t see anyone from my batch

Weddings always left me feeling sappy -
Isya’s wedding wasn’t excluded. They played Eric Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight – which almost brought tears to my eyes. I knew I would’ve had a breakdown if Nazrin and Onne weren’t there.

Yes, he hurt me quite a bit with his words. Yes, I’m very much over him. But he was, after all, part of me. And that one song in particular – reminds me so much of the good times we once had
